This class is made up of non-spinnaker boats with novice or under 17 skippers.  Folks with less than 5 year's experience have the opportunity to do some racing without the challenge of going up against the extablished boats.  Boats in this class sail the same course every week and fly an orange flag to let others know that they were a bit less experienced at dealing with close quarters racing.
